Explore the hope of Jesus and the light he brings this Easter
The Easter story starts with darkness, but it ends with hope. On Good Friday, we remember the death of Jesus on a cross. We remember him being buried in a grave. But just as a light can be seen to shine more brightly in the darkness, the message of Easter Sunday – the hope of Jesus – is a message that shines brighter. His hope transforms lives and brings unexpected joy. His hope is a guiding light for when life seems confusing, and a hope that offers peace. His hope is one that shines brightly so no one has to stumble through the darkness alone.
At this time in our history – when so many are looking for answers and for hope – we, as The Salvation Army, are both privileged and compelled to share the light, salvation and hope that can be found in God, through Jesus Christ.
