When you live in a low-income community there can be lots of pressure and stress on a family. A strong support system can make all the difference for children and families experiencing difficulties. Your gift will help provide one child with access to a trained counsellor who can talk through social and behavioural influences that directly affect them, as well as provide family counselling services. This will help to foster greater family wellbeing and release a sense of hope.

Every gift purchased through Salvos Gifts empowers communities to lift themselves out of poverty. The cost to implement each project varies. Therefore, when a project is fully funded, we direct excess funding to projects of a similar nature. This ensures the needs of the communities you support are met and that they have ownership of the project.
