Starting Location: Macintosh Island, Surfers Paradise

Event Details: Team up with friends, families, and workmates to explore Surfers Paradise and Main Beach, uncover secret locations, solve puzzles, and raise money for local charities.

The Ramble is an outdoor event open to all levels of fitness – family and wheelchair friendly. It can best be described as a car rally on foot, with teams of costumed participants exploring the parks, malls and streets of the Gold Coast Villages, Surfers Paradise and Main Beach, following clues to locate 20 to 30 checkpoints over 2 hours. This year’s event will start and finish at Macintosh Island Park.

Your team is encouraged to support The Salvation Army through seeking sponsorship donations. The incentive being that each donation will earn additional event points – every $10 donation gains your team an additional point up to a maximum of 100 points ($1,000 team sponsorship). Once registered for the event, your team members will be able to get friends and work colleagues to sponsor them.

Registration costs:

  • General team entry (up to 6 people) - $70
  • Corporate team (up to 6 work colleagues) - $90
  • Family team (2 adults [max.] + kids) - $50

Prizes: There will be prizes for craziest dressed, fundraising, random draws, and more!
