Anti Poverty Week
Disaster doesn't discriminate, opportunity shouldn't either
Debt and money troubles can happen to anyone. A sudden job loss, unexpected health crisis or a natural disaster can strike at any time. You are not alone. Here at The Salvation Army, we recognise that disaster does not discriminate. We’ve seen people from all walks of life need help and support to get through their challenging time. Just last year we saw nearly 14,000 people going through similar challenges to your own.
What is Anti-Poverty Week?
Anti-Poverty Week (11-17 October) is a national campaign to raise awareness for the financial struggles thousands of Australians experience every day. The Salvation Army is committed to helping people who are facing poverty overcome their financial stress and find hope for the future.
