Salvos Freedom Partners

With unity we create impact

As a Salvos Freedom Partner you’ll help sustain our vital services, so we can be there to give hope to those who need it most.

It’s one of the most effective ways that you can help us plan and prepare for the future.

Become a Salvos Freedom Partner

Australians who are victims of violence, experiencing homelessness or trapped in addiction and poverty need ongoing help and support. They need your long term commitment.

"I'm still in crisis mode"

Every person who accepts support from The Salvation Army has their own story to tell. For some, like David, it begins with an emergency meal and accommodation. And for many it leads to ongoing care and guidance to help them find their feet - often years down the track.

David lost everything after being attacked in his family home. With no support network he faced numerous psychological, physiological and emotional challenges as he struggled on his own to deal with the effects of his assault and get through each day. But hunger is what ultimately led him to the Salvos.

Almost 20 years on, his life is completely different to what he once thought it would be. But thanks to our ongoing support over a number of years – greatly made possible thanks to the generosity of our Salvos Freedom Partners – David finally feels safe once again.

However, his struggle still isn’t over. Sometimes he still goes without meals, because he’s still experiencing poverty. He’s still in crisis mode and he still needs our help.

Your help is needed

By giving a regular monthly gift, you can help people in real trouble turn their lives around. By becoming a Salvos Freedom Partner you enable us to stand alongside people like David.

To help them with immediate needs in times of desperation, to provide them with sustainable help over the long haul, and to assist them in finding the freedom and future they deserve.

The long-term impact of your generosity has the power to transform lives, families and communities. And a little bit on a regular basis can provide a lot for those who have absolutely nothing.
